YES! College Ready EZ is a 100% free resource created by a group of Umass Boston students for their capstone class!


No, CollegeReady EZ is an interactive and customizable checklist that helps with preparing for college. However, we do provide advice on scholarships.


We have general deadlines along with estimated times to complete a task, but there are certain tasks—like FAFSA, the Common App, etc.—that have strict deadlines, so we’ve already added them. There are editing features, so you’ll be able to change deadlines based on your needs.

Frequently Asked Questions About College

Include safety (high chance of admission), target (good match for your stats), and reach(competitive) schools. Consider academics, cost, location, and campus culture.


Start early, stay organized with deadlines, tailor essays to each school, and get feedback from teachers, of course we are here to help you along the way!


Apply early, maintain high grades/test scores, and research school-specific merit scholarships.


Try to understand what you don't like/ want to do. Them move onto things you do like. If you want something fun and easy, take career quizzes, talk to professionals, and try introductory courses in potential fields.

Every college is different but fairly strong academics, meaningful extracurriculars, compelling essays, and solid recommendations.

Junior year: Continue focusing  but start to loo at colleges and understand what you need
